WHERE THE EVIDENCE STANDS
Small human studies of the DAC form in the mid-2000s showed sustained increases in growth hormone and IGF-1; development did not continue after a serious adverse event in one trial. Data on the short-acting form are sparser still.
CJC-1295 was placed in Category 2 in September 2023 and left the 503A Category 2 table in September 2024 when its nomination was withdrawn. Withdrawal is not eligibility: it is on neither the 503A bulks list nor Category 1, so it cannot lawfully be compounded under 503A. It was named in the February 2026 announcement among compounds expected to regain access; no rule has followed.
